Il est le sixi\u00e8me enfant de dix. Il a fait toutes ses \u00e9tudes jusqu\u2019au baccalaur\u00e9at dans sa ville natale, apr\u00e8s quoi il a commenc\u00e9 son noviciat au sein de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des Pr\u00eatres du Sacr\u00e9-C\u0153ur de J\u00e9sus (SCJ) \u00e0 Pliszczyn, pr\u00e8s de Lublin.\u00a0Apr\u00e8s un an de noviciat, il a poursuivi des \u00e9tudes de philosophie et de th\u00e9ologie \u00e0 Stadniki, pr\u00e8s de Krak\u00f3w. Il a obtenu sa ma\u00eetrise en th\u00e9ologie morale. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 ordonn\u00e9 en juin 1986. Sa premi\u00e8re paroisse a \u00e9t\u00e9 la paroisse de W\u0119gl\u00f3wka dans la r\u00e9gion montagneuse du sud de la Pologne. De l\u00e0, il fut transf\u00e9r\u00e9 dans la paroisse de Chmiel\u00f3w, au centre de la Pologne. En tant que pr\u00eatre, il a principalement travaill\u00e9 avec des enfants et des adolescents.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">\u00b7<\/span><br \/>\nLe p\u00e8re Peter est arriv\u00e9 en Finlande le 21 juillet 1991. Il a commenc\u00e9 comme assistant \u00e0 la paroisse Sainte-Croix de Tampere, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9galement commenc\u00e9 ses \u00e9tudes en finnois et s&#8217;est familiaris\u00e9 avec la culture et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 finlandaises. Peu de temps apr\u00e8s, il devint cur\u00e9 de la grande paroisse de Sainte-Croix. L&#8217;\u00e9v\u00eaque l&#8217;a nomm\u00e9 cur\u00e9 de la paroisse Sainte Brigitte et Bienheureux Hemming \u00e0 Turku le 1er janvier 2003.
